SCEPTRE: delivering the Digital Targeting Web

Evolve Dynamics is proud to be a founding member of SCEPTRE, a collective of leading British SMEs that has launched a next-generation, sovereign technology stack designed to anticipate and meet the evolving operational and strategic needs of UK defence, such as digital targeting. Developed at pace by industry leaders, SCEPTRE delivers a modular, lean and software-driven capability built on emerging British technologies, offering decisive advantage at the speed of relevance.

SCEPTRE was launched at an executive dinner held in London, UK on 8 September 2025, the eve of DSEI UK 2025. Attended by leading voices from defence, government, and industry, the event featured a keynote from rugby star Sam Warburton OBE on leadership and how to create high-performing teams, with panellists including General Sir Richard Barrons, former Commander of the British Army’s Joint Forces Command, and Evolve Dynamics CEO Tom Redman.

This launch responds directly to the strategic direction laid out in the UK MOD’s Strategic Defence Review and Defence Industrial Strategy, both of which call for greater sovereign capability and SME-enriched supply chains. SCEPTRE embodies these principles, showcasing how agile, best-in-class UK technology can drive battlefield dominance, strengthen the national industrial base, and better leverage the nation’s most valuable assets to grow the UK economy.

At its foundation, SCEPTRE represents a powerful collaboration, initially between five UK-based companies, each contributing cutting-edge capabilities to form an integrated, effect-focused C2 ecosystem:

  • INTEGRATOR: 2iC provides the digital backbone, enabling seamless connectivity between users and their evolving mix of platforms, devices, and systems.
  • SENSOR (AI Vision): Vizgard offers platform-agnostic, AI-powered vision technology that transforms traditional defence and security cameras into autonomous, mission-ready teammates.
  • DECIDER: Hadean delivers the next generation of command and control software, designed for complex, multi-domain operations and enabled by AI and autonomous systems.
  • EFFECTOR: Kraken Technology Group contributes cutting-edge littoral, surface, and subsurface capabilities to meet the challenges of current and future missions.
  • SENSOR (UAS): Evolve Dynamics provides rugged, resilient ISTAR uncrewed aerial systems, purpose-built to perform in the most demanding operational environments.

This collective effort marks the beginning of SCEPTRE’s journey. Designed for scale and continuous modularity, this initiative ensures resilience, adaptability, and enduring strategic relevance for the UK and its allies.
